Our firm has a contract (BPA) with Social Security Administration, Office of Hearings Operations (OHO), to provide Vocational Expert Witness services in claimant disability hearings. We want people who: have the highest ethical standards; can keep the strictest confidentially; can pay extreme attention to detail; can complete complex tasks on a tight deadline; and, can give truthful, knowledgeable, professional opinions that have impact on individual lives and our national economy . We want people who will show up on time and will stay until the job is finished.
Our headquarters has a core of seasoned professionals who support our offsite professional independent subcontractors. All team members have a strong work ethic, professional pride, and an empathetic spirit for the disabled that is demonstrated though truthful witnessing.
A minimum of a Master's degree in the field is required, rehabilitation counselor certification (CRC through CCRC) as well as a minimum of 5 years of rehabilitation employment counseling and job placement experience. Additional training suggestions will be offered. It will be necessary to apply for and obtain a federal agency security clearance, which will include fingerprinting and credit check. We will assist applicants through those process.
