William Houston Reed, Ph.D.President, CEO & Sr. Vocational ExpertDr. Reed is our founding President, CEO and Senior Vocational Expert and Forensic Economist. He has more than 40 years of professional experience in vocational evaluation, disability determination, rehabilitation counseling, and rehabilitation and forensic economics providing him with an expert understanding of the impact of impairments on functional abilities, labor market access, job placement probabilities and earning capacity.
As President Dr. Reed manages our client base, our Independent Contractor Vocational Experts (ICVEs), and Forensic Economists. He is involved in identifying and acquiring the appropriate human resources needed for each client who looks to us for the highest expertise to meet their specific needs. As CEO, he is especially involved in managing the complexities of forensic vocational and economic issues in civil litigation cases , and in advising continuing education opportunities for our ICVES who provide the Social Security Administration (SSA), Office of Hearings Operation (OHO) with the best possible Vocational Expert Witness testimony in disability hearings. As Senior Vocational Expert and Forensic Economist he continues to provide evaluations and testimony for the OHO in disability hearings and in civil litigation cases in Courts of Common Plea and Federal Courts. He has testified in approximately twenty thousand disability cases for the SSA and in hundreds of civil litigation court cases. Dr. Reed was inducted into The Library of Congress, National Referral Center, Science and Technology Division, as a vocational expert national resource with specialized knowledge. He is well regarded in the administrative and civil law professions. |
